UPMC Health Plan and Partner4Work gets $1M funding from ARC

Partner4Work and UPMC which is helping to create new opportunities in behavioral health has received a funding of $1 Million from Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC). This funding will be used to support the Certified Recovery Specialist trainings in southwestern PA and surrounding areas.

This funding will be used to help the one to one peer support to people who are suffering from substance use disorder. UPMC Health Plan and Partner4Work are working together from last many years with the goal of recruitment and training of Medicaid.

People living in southwestern Pennsylvania will get the most benefit from it as it will provide the employment to those who lives in these areas and who are suffering from substance use disorders.
