Gameto receives $10 Million funding from ARPA-H for Women’s Health

Gameto which is a biotechnology company has been awarded a funding of $10 Million from ARPA-H’s Sprint for Women’s Health and this funding will be utilized for the research of Menopause Program “Ameno”.

Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H)has a program named as Sprint for Women’s Health that selects and provides dedicated funding to companies and startups which are working towards the improvement of women’s health. These fundings are used towards the transformative innovations in healthcare domain for women, and tackle unique and critical healthcare conditions.

Dina Radenkovic is the Cofounder and CEO of Gameto and she is a Physician turned entrepreneur and she is trying to use science and innovation for lasting positive impact on the lives of women across the globe. She said that this funding will be used to advance the Ameno program by investing in preclinical studies and hopefully then into the human trials which will lead to the success of the company and achieving its goal.

At Gameto, there is another program named Fertilo through which the company is trying to address the issue of infertility by reducing the impact of hormonal burden. With this, the company will have necessary funding for its cell engineering technology that will help in medical conditions of women’s going through menopause.
