Dr Matthew Graham-Brown who is Honorary Consultant Nephrologist and is doing research into chronic kidney disease has secured the £4 million of funding from the University of Leicester and the Stoneygate Trust.
The research done by Dr Matthew Graham-Brown will be accelerated with this funding and will help him to take it to the next level, i.e. from research findings into clinical care. The clinical experience and its data will help him to cure patients who are suffering from chronic kidney disease.
Around 7.2 million people are suffering from the Chronic kidney disease in the UK itself and so Dr. Matthew is working with an aim of providing quality care to everyone, irrespective of any backgrounds including clinical care.
Dr Graham-Brown is currently working at the University Hospitals of Leicester as Academic Clinical Lecturer and as an Honorary Consultant Nephrologist. Apart from the above funding, he is having around £400,000 in external grants like NIGHTLIFE-CMR, Kidney Research UK project grant, etc.
