An adMare Tx Accelerator company, NorthMiRs has won the first prize of $250K at ECHO PITCH 2024. It was one of the four selected startup in the cardiovascular sector to compete for this generous award and they created a great impact on the judges of the competition.

NorthMiRs is working on the novel RNA-based therapeutics that has the capability to disrupt the healthcare and medical field and will help in the treatment of sepsis and related conditions. NM-001 is the primary product of the company that is used in the treatment of sepsis induced cardiac dysfunction, which is condition in which hearts functioning is disturbed due to the infection in the body.
Samantha McWhirter is the Co-founder and CEO of NorthMiRs and she said that the funding will go towards the essential testing of their primary product.
