Secuped and Leiden University Medical Center secured funding from Health~Holland

Health-Holland that is running the ๐Ÿ’Ž DIAMOND ๐Ÿ’Ž project has awarded the funding which aims to develop home monitoring solutions for long term diabetes. This remote patient monitoring solution will help in early detection of diabetic foot ulcers by keeping regular monitoring.

Secuped with its rich experience in medical technology and LUMC with its clinical expertise will try to make a system for the understanding of temperature and physiology in the diabetic foot and for its early detection.

Secuped is working on reducing the risk of foot ulceration by daily foot monitoring that helps it in early detection and intervention of foot ulcer. It also helps healthcare providers in educating, diagnosing, and treating the foot ulcer by enabling monitoring between consultations, that directly helps in early detection and curing. It also helps the payers in ulcer treatment and also reducing the risk of amputation.

Leiden University Medical Center is a center of excellence for medical innovation with an aim to improve patient care with state of the art innovation in the medical and healthcare field. It also offers rare and complex medical treatments to people that are rare in nature and it distinguishes itself as a referral center for complex healthcare and medical situations.
