Pharos raises $5 million from Felicis and other investors

Pharos which is working for patient safety through AI has raised around $5 Million investment in seed funding from Felicis and other investors like Moxxie Ventures, General Catalyst and angel investors Andy Pai, Kevin Stumpf, Robin Choy, Mark Monterastelli, Kulveer Taggar as well as Y Combinator.

Pharos in working on AI solutions by using data generated in hospitals and by using this data, helping patients by giving quick and reliable information to the hospital quality team which helps them in decision making. Pharos uses AI for getting reliable info from unstructured as well as structured data generated in the hospitals and by pulling quality registry variables thus keeping patient safety in mind. The company provides real time data to the decision makers in hospitals so that they don’t have to spend their crucial time on charts, reports, clinical registries, etc. and with the quick turnaround time, patients get quality care at hospitals.

Felix Brann is the CEO of Pharos (YC S24) and he has worked as the VP of AI at J.P. Morgan and Vita. This funding will help the company to increase its pace of deploying the system in the hospitals at a much faster rate. The funding will be further used to enhance the current systems.
